Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete has substantial social media audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him quite busy."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He represents the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.
"And he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to wider groups, especially among younger fans.
The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
