The children's author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling young adult author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was made after an review of claims about inappropriate behaviour towards women.
The firm declined to specify the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams ranks among Britain's most successful children's authors, having sold more than 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
A number of his works, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into small-screen adaptations.
To date, he has released over four dozen titles in total, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.
A Dual Career
He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
The publisher's decision comes after the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
